This policy explains what we collect when you visit thehalohorns.com or buy from us, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do about it. The data controller is IP Kairatuly, Aksay 3, 24, Almaty 050000, Kazakhstan. You can reach us at hello@thehalohorns.com.
What we collect
- When you order: name, email address, shipping and billing address, phone number if you give one, and the contents of your order.
- When you pay: your card details go directly to our payment provider. We never see or store full card numbers.
- When you browse: IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, and referring site, through cookies and similar technologies.
- When you subscribe: your email address, and only if you asked for it.
Why we use it
To make and deliver your order, to answer your messages, to prevent fraud and chargebacks, to meet accounting and tax obligations, and — where you have opted in — to send occasional news about new pieces.
Who else sees it
Only the companies that make the order happen: Shopify Inc. (our store platform), our payment provider, the postal carrier that delivers your parcel, and our email provider if you have subscribed. Each receives the minimum needed and may not use your data for their own purposes. We never sell personal data, and we do not share it for advertising.
International transfers
We are based in Kazakhstan and our store platform is hosted in North America, so your data is processed outside your country. We use providers that commit to protecting it under their own published terms.
Cookies
Necessary cookies keep your cart and session working — the shop cannot function without them. Analytics cookies help us see which pages people actually read. You can refuse or delete cookies in your browser settings; the shop will still work, but your cart may not persist.
How long we keep it
Order and invoice records are kept for as long as tax law requires, currently five years. Marketing consent is kept until you withdraw it. Browsing data is kept for up to 26 months.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, or tell us to stop using it for marketing. If you are in California, you may request disclosure or deletion of your personal information, opt out of any sale or sharing of it — we do neither — and you will never be treated differently for asking. Children
This shop is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes we update the date at the top. Material changes will be announced on this page.
